Cabinetry & Furniture

There are no shortcuts to a lasting, high-quality finish.

Finishing kitchen cabinets and household furniture is, in the most crucial aspects, similar to most other surfaces. The secret to a beautiful and lasting finish is in the thoroughness of your preparation, the correct choice of materials, and expert application.

Updating a piece of furniture, or your entire kitchen, can be a cost-effective way to breathe new life into a room. For us, it’s extremely satisfying and rewarding to rejuvenate furniture that may otherwise have been disposed of or replaced at greater expense.

Of course, not all furniture is suitable for painting, generally due to materials used in its construction or surface finishes and we will always assess your furniture’s suitability and advise accordingly.

Whether it is a bold feature wall, or an elegant paper hung throughout a room, both can be impactful. When considering your project we’re happy to be on hand to help and advise. We can work with you to help you reach a decision that fulfils your vision and elevates your home.

Like all aspects of good decorating practice, preparation is key when hanging wallpaper. We are happy to undertake paper stripping, lining, and additional preparation to achieve a good foundation for your decorative paper. In cases where the condition of the walls is beyond our usual preparation regime, we can propose a variety of solutions.

We are particularly experienced in hanging murals and feature wall papers, which can make a big statement when well considered.
